Argentina: The Rosario Grain Exchange lowered the estimated corn harvest from 51 MMT down to 50 MMT while the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange says the crop is 48 MMT. (Reuters)

Brazil: As 2019/20 corn plantings begin, they face dry conditions in the Center West and South parts of the country. CONAB now pegs 2018/19 corn production at 99.984 MMT (+600 KMT) and raised exports by 50 KMT to 45 MMT. Demand at the government’s corn auction hit a record low. (Reuters)

Canada: Strong domestic and export demand has pushed barley ending stocks to a record low 893 KMT. Oats are also in demand and stocks will hit their third lowest level at 414 KMT. (FarmLead)

China: The Agriculture Ministry raised slightly this year’s corn production estimate to 255.51 MMT but lowered estimated consumption by 2MMT. (Reuters)
