USDA reported DDGS prices averaged $145 per short ton in the October 11 National Weekly Ethanol Report. Prices were down $1 from the previous report and up $6 from the previous month.
The DDGS/cash corn ratio was 1.05, up from 1.02 last week. The DDGS/KC soybean meal ratio was 0.44, up from 0.42 last week.
The EIA reported U.S. ethanol production averaged 1,042 thousand barrels per day (tbpd) the week ending October 11. This was up 4 tbpd (0.4%) week-over-week and up 7 tbpd (0.7%) with production this time last year. The 4-week average production was 1,022 tbpd, down 2 tbpd from last week. Prices and average production were largely unchanged from last week.
