USGC Director of Global Ethanol Market Development Brian Healy recently spoke at the 8th Bioenergy Week organized by the Global Bioenergy Partnership (GBEP), an organization that brings together public, private and civil society stakeholders in a joint commitment to promote bioenergy for sustainable development. The regionally-focused conference provided a platform to support the design and implementation of bioenergy policies in African countries. In his presentation, Healy stressed the need for building coalition and cooperation within the renewable energy sector.
