Did you know June is sorghum month? There are many ways to enjoy sorghum due to its versatility – it can be popped, boiled or baked. With support from the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), popped sorghum recently took to the air in Vietnam. Ka-pop snacks were served on a Vietnam Airlines flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, the second busiest global airline route. Follow along with the Council throughout June – here in Global Update and via our social media channels - to learn more about sorghum and the Council’s efforts to share the commodity’s benefits and uses.
