U.S. Export Statistics

Corn: Net sales of 969,700 MT for 2018/2019 were reported for Mexico (375,300 MT, including decreases of 38,400 MT), Japan (306,700 MT, including 82,100 MT switched from unknown destinations), Colombia (199,100 MT, including 77,000 MT switched from unknown destinations), South Korea (65,500 MT, including 65,000 MT switched from unknown destinations and decreases of 68,000 MT), and Canada (34,200 MT). For 2019/2020, total net sales of 280,900 MT were for Mexico. Exports of 744,000 MT were primarily to Mexico (186,800 MT), Japan (154,100 MT), South Korea (133,200 MT), Colombia (82,100 MT), and Honduras (48,000 MT).

Optional Origin: For 2018/2019, new optional origin sales of 133,000 MT were reported for South Korea. Options were exercised to export 138,000 MT to South Korea from other than the United States. The current outstanding balance of 642,500 MT is for South Korea (515,000 MT), Taiwan (65,000 MT), Mexico (32,500 MT), and Tunisia (30,000 MT).

For 2019/2020, new optional origin sales of 65,000 MT were reported for unknown destinations. The current outstanding balance is 120,000 MT, all unknown destinations.

Barley: Net sales of 900 MT for 2018/2019 were primarily for Taiwan (800 MT). For 2019/2020, total net sales of 5,100 MT were for Japan. Exports of 1,600 MT were to Japan (1,300 MT) and Taiwan (300 MT).

Sorghum: Net sales of 130,000 MT for 2018/2019 were reported for China (65,000 MT), Spain (55,000 MT), and unknown destinations (10,000 MT). Exports of 55,400 MT were primarily to Spain (55,000 MT).
