DDGS Comments: DDGS prices are varied but generally lower as traders, buyers, and merchandisers try to navigate the volatility popping up in nearly every commodity market. FOB Ethanol plant DDGS values are $7/MT lower with the $10/MT drop in cash soybean meal weighing on the market. Domestically, DDGS are $1.01/protein-unit less expensive than soybean meal, increasing their advantage from last week.
Internationally, FOB U.S. Gulf values slipped this week while containers CIF Southeast Asia fell $8/MT on average.
