Brazil: The 11-day truckers strike has had ongoing adverse impacts on Brazil’s corn exports. Traders are “unable to accurately set prices in contracts without reliable estimates of transportation costs.”  The result is that about one-third of the safrinha crop of corn remains unsold and a lack of on-farm storage is forcing tough choices. EU: Corn and other spring crops in north-central Europe remain in the crosshairs of warm and dry weather over the next 6-10 days, but potentially beneficial weather in France may more than offset risks to the east (Reuters)
