We’ve hand selected a few optional tours and experiences to add to your time in Calgary this summer. Find detail on each below. Each option will also be available for selection during the registration process

Tuesday, July 25th

The Calgary Zoo

12p.m.-3:30p.m.
Founded in 1929, the Calgary Zoo is one of the country’s favorite family destinations.
Come explore the zoo’s 125-acre campus, filled with animal destinations from all over the
world. The tour will include a lunch presentation by a zoo curator, a guided tour through the
“Destination Africa”, and the opportunity to explore the remaining destinations at your leisure.
Cost: $46.00 USD
Tour Includes: Roundtrip transportation, private lunch and curator presentation, and guided zoo tour!

Thursday. July 27th

Spouse/ Guest Spa Event at the Hyatt Regency Calgary-
10:00a.m.-2:00p.m.
The award-winning Stillwater Spa at the Hyatt Regency offers the perfect remedy for our spouses and guests looking for a little relaxation and pampering. Join us for a day of indulging! At a special USGC group rate, the Council’s spouses and guests will select their spa experience from a curated list of spa treatment options. There will also be a private lunch and refreshments served to all USGC spa guests.
Cost: $54 – $110 USD
Event Includes: Various spa treatments, spa cuisine and refreshments.

Thursday July 27th

Offsite Event at Heritage Park 
5:30p.m.-9:00p.m.
Join Council staff and members for a blast into Calgary’s past at Heritage
Park! You will have the opportunity to interact with nearly 100 years of Alberta, Canada’s history through the park’s expansive exhibits (some dating back to the 1860s). The night will also include live entertainment, food and drinks for an immersive Calgarian experience!
Cost: $120(guests only)
Includes: Roundtrip transportation, entertainment and dinner

Friday, July 28th

Tool Shed Brewery Tour and Tasting
1:00p.m.-4:00p.m.
Best described as a field trip for adults, this behind-the-scenes facility tour will allow attendees to learn more about Tool Shed’s process to produce delicious craft beer. Brewmaster Graham Sherman will be on hand to go deep into the grains of his brew making masterpiece and how his backyard hobby bolstered into the successful business it is today.
Cost: $82 USD
Includes: Roundtrip transportation, owner guided tour, beer tasting, and lunch.
