Yoke Yee (YY) Leong joined the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) on June 17 as the finance and administration manager for Southeast Asia, based in the USGC office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In this role, Leong will manage the administration, accounting and compliance of the Council’s operations in Southeast Asia. Prior to the Council, Leong worked for Mobile Repair Solutions Malaysia, where she led the company’s full set of accounts and reported directly to the head office in the United Kingdom.
“YY is a certified accountant with more than 12 years of accounting and administration experience in various industries,” said Manuel Sanchez, USGC regional director for Southeast Asia. “She brings a great deal of enthusiasm and accounting experience to our team.”
Leong earned an advanced degree in financial accounting from Tunku Abdul Rahman College and is a licensed member of the Association of Charted Certified Accountants (ACCA).
