Brian Wang recently joined the U.S. Grains Council’s (USGC’s) office in Beijing, China as its new livestock sector advisor. In this capacity, Wang will be responsible for strategic planning and industry engagement to increase U.S. market share for feed grains in China.
“Brian has built an excellent reputation in the food industry and I’m confident he will use that experience to hit the ground running for the Council,” said Manuel Sanchez, USGC director in China. “I’m excited to expand programming focused on increasing livestock yields in China by promoting the significant health benefits of incorporating U.S. products into animal diets.”
Wang’s professional journey includes three years in logistics, seven years in the potato sector and 18 years in the popcorn industry. He has accumulated vast experience in managing sales, marketing, team building and distributor network development in China.
Wang is studying for a doctorate in business administration at the University of South Carolina and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of International Business and Economics and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology.
