Please join U.S. Grains Council (USGC) in welcoming the newest member of its Tunisia-based staff, Aroua Karoui, as program coordinator for the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
In this role, Karoui will provide support to ongoing programs for the Council’s regional office located in Tunis, Tunisia.
“Aroua’s professional experience as well as her managerial and organizational skills will help the MEA office increase its effectiveness and efficiency in program development and implementation,” said Ramy Taieb, USGC MEA regional director.
Prior to the Council, Karoui gained experience working as an international relations manager at the Arab Institute of Business Leaders (IACE), where she contributed to event organization and implementation of development projects. Karoui also served as a head of office at a Norwegian company operating mainly in the trade sector.
Karoui earned a master’s degree in applied linguistics and has attended professional training related to advocacy, communication and negotiation skills.
