Will Margerum serves as the manager of communications for the U.S. Grains Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products worldwide.

In this capacity, Margerum is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the USGC’s publications, website, social media presence and other internal and external outreach.

Margerum joined the Council in February, 2022 as the communications coordinator and assumed his current role in May, 2024. Prior to joining the Council, Margerum interned at several offices in the D.C. area, including West End Strategy Team, and has worked on multiple campaign efforts for candidates in Pennsylvania. 
Margerum holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in journalism and mass communication from George Washington University.
