Hiwot Arnold serves as the manager of domestic accounting for the U.S. Grains Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS).
In this capacity, she prepares the monthly financial statements, provide monthly department and transactional data reports as well as organize financial materials for quarterly and bi-annual board meetings.
Prior to joining the Council in June 2023, Arnold was a senior accountant at Mary’s Center and a revenue manager at Ashoka.
Arnold holds a master’s degree in accounting and finance from DeVry University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Mekelle University.
