Emma Freebairn serves as the manager of industry relations for the U.S. Grains Council, a non-profit organization that promotes the global use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS).
In this role, Freebairn manages event administration and logistics for USGC’s regular membership meetings, Export Exchange, Global Ethanol Summit, special member meetings and other meetings as they may arise. She also coordinates administrative needs for association membership operations.
Freebairn interned at the Council during the summer of 2023 with the industry relations team. She also interned with the Illinois Farm Bureau as the agriculture in the classroom intern and worked with events at the Iowa State University Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center.
Freebairn has a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in agricultural communication.
