Sam Clemence joined the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) on Oct. 21 as global strategies coordinator at the organization’s Washington, D.C., headquarters.
In this role, Clemence will support the Council’s global strategies department in market engagement efforts in South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He will serve as a vital link between those overseas offices and the UGSC headquarters office as the Council implements its annual international marketing programs.
Prior to assuming this role, Clemence was a press intern on the Hill for Representative Mike Quigley of Chicago and a campaign assistant for Army Emergency Relief before supporting the Council’s ethanol team in preparation for the 2019 Global Ethanol Summit.
“The Council’s global strategies team is very fortunate to have such a talented and capable coordinator join the team,” said Kurt Shultz, USGC senior director of global strategies. “Sam will have an immediate and positive impact on our work.”
Clemence earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Brigham Young University.
Please join the Council in welcoming Sam!
