This week, U.S. Grains Council (USGC) staff and grower leaders, including Verity Ulibarri, USGC secretary-treasurer; Jim Massey, USGC sorghum sector director; and John Hagios of The Andersons and USGC Value-Added Advisory Team leader are in Kenya participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Trade Mission (ATM). Along with ATM events, the group will be conducting side visits in and around Nairobi to promote alternative feed grain ingredients in Kenya, including sorghum and distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS). Pictured, the group visits Unga Farm Care, which works closely with the Council.
