USGC Manager of Sustainability, Policy and Innovation Carlos Suarez (center) spoke about sustainable agricultural production practices at COP28 on stage with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack (left) last week. The panel showcased the U.S. ethanol industry and the American farmer’s critical role in decarbonization, job creation and the importance of robust and creditable sustainability verification methods such as the Corn Sustainability Assurance Protocol (CSAP) launched by USGC this year.
