To encourage continued growth of distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) sales to Mexican buyers, the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) this week with Promexa, a rice processing and grain, seed and derivatives marketing company. Since first meeting with Promexa representatives four years ago, the company has become a key partner for supplying DDGS in Southeast Mexico to bolster the Council’s DDGS promotion program there. Pictured are Heidi Bringenberg, USGC director in Mexico, and Jose Ivan Garcia Alvarez, Promexa director general, following the MOU signing.
