The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) welcomed Sarah McLeeson to its Washington, D.C., headquarters staff as its new trade policy coordinator this week.
“Sarah is joining us at an exciting time for the Council and will provide invaluable support to the trade policy department,” said Andrew Brandt, USGC director of trade policy. “Her interest in renewable sources of energy and international economics will help her fit right into the Council’s global network.”
McLeeson will organize staff and member travel, make arrangements for visiting trade teams and facilitate program planning and execution.
McLeeson holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with emphases in economic study and sustainability from Dayton University. She has held internships at organizations including the National Conference for Community and Justice of Greater Dayton, the Greater Cleveland Partnership and the Hall Hunger Initiative.
