Will Margerum joined the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) on Feb. 22 as the communications coordinator in the Council’s Washington, D.C., headquarters.
In this capacity, Margerum will assist the communications department in managing the website, subscription services and other general administrative duties.
“Will is a great addition to round out the communications team in the Council’s D.C. headquarters and his skills as a writer and strategist will serve him well in the work we do,” said Bryan Jernigan, USGC director of communications.
Prior to the Council, Margerum interned at several offices in the D.C. area, including West End Strategies, and has worked on a few campaign efforts for candidates in Pennsylvania. While in school at George Washington University, he served as a contributing sports editor for the GW Hatchet.
Margerum holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in journalism and mass communication.
Please join the Council in welcoming Will!
