Logan Walsh Joins USGC As Summer Intern

This week, U.S. Grains Council (USGC) welcomed Logan Walsh to its Washington, D.C. headquarters as an intern with the Council’s industry relations department thanks to the generous support of the Nebraska Corn Board.

Walsh will gain a hands-on understanding of business relationship management and engagement by liaising with Council membership and helping plan the organization’s upcoming 65th Annual Board of Delegates Meeting, held July 30-Aug. 1 in Grand Rapids, MI.

“We are excited to have Logan join us for the summer and continue a strong tradition of Nebraska students learning the ropes of international agriculture with the Council,” said Ellen Zimmerman, USGC director of industry relations. “I’m sure Logan will hit the ground running and be an asset to the department as we prepare to commemorate the Council’s 65th Anniversary next month.”

Walsh is a student at the University of Nebraska where he is pursuing a degree in international business. Outside the classroom, Walsh has prior internship experience in the Nebraska state legislature.

Please join the Council in welcoming Logan to the organization!
