Shuda Jarboe was promoted to manager of global programs for the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) earlier this week, where she will predominantly be responsible for the Council’s export development efforts in Asia.
Jarboe joined the Council in 2024 as global programs coordinator and previously worked at the Rights and Resources Initiative, where she engaged an international coalition and strategic networks, organized meetings and tracked a global program budget. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese from the University of Maryland.
“I’m very happy to see Shuda rise to the challenge of her new role and her experience as global programs coordinator and international work in prior jobs will allow her to seamlessly transition to the manager position,” said Stella Qian, USGC director of global programs administration.
“It’s an exciting time for the Council with many Asian markets rapidly developing and Shuda will play a major part in ensuring the U.S. agricultural industry is ready for those opportunities.”
Please join the Council in congratulating Shuda on her new position!
