Western New York Energy is the first ethanol plant in operation in the northeastern United States. The company was founded in 2004 and began producing ethanol and co-products in November 2007. The plant utilizes approximately 20 million bushels of corn annual and produces 55 million gallons of fuel ethanol; 160,000 tons of high quality “Dairy Distillers Grain,” a unique low-fast distillers grain that is marketed in western New York feed users; and other products such as corn oil, and food grade carbon dioxide.Exporter of DDGS
