Cash corn values are $3.34/bushel this week while FOB ethanol plant DDGS are $146.77/MT, up slightly from last week. The DDGS/cash corn value is 112 percent, avobe the two-year average of 106 percent.
Prices were generally up this week as continued demand from Southeast Asian markets and increased demand for domestic feeding buoyed markets. Merchandisers reported sales to Vietnam as indications for December delivery of 40-foot containters to Southeast Asia are up $4/MT on average. At the US Gulf, indications for December delivery were up for the third straight week to $204/MT. US rail rates were up as well.
