Council Staff Recognized For Years Of Service

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) has staff located in 10 offices around the world, all working in unison to generate global demand for U.S. agricultural products. The work of those who have spent five years in pursuit of that effort will be recognized tomorrow as part of its 22nd International Marketing Conference and 65th Annual Membership Meeting in Austin, Texas, held Feb. 12-14.

The Council will present commemorative plaques to:

• Samuel Clemence, global strategies coordinator, Washington, D.C.

• Joana Hassan, manager of global ethanol programs, Washington, D.C.

• YY Leong, finance and administration manager, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

• Marlyn Montenegro, office manager, Panama City, Panama

• Sawsen Nacef, administrative and accounting specialist, Tunis, Tunisia

• Milla Parr, manager of international accounting, Washington, D.C.

• Mariem Romani, program manager, Tunis, Tunisia

“The Council’s staff are working around the clock on behalf of U.S. growers and agribusinesses to find international homes for their products, and these plaques are a small token of gratitude to my peers that have dedicated five years to the Council and its mission,” said Ryan LeGrand, USGC president and CEO.

Thank you to these staff members for their landmark years of service to the Council!
