Registration for the U.S. Grains Council’s (USGC’s) 65th Annual Board of Delegates Meeting is now open. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Grand Rapids, MI, from Wednesday, July 30, to Friday, Aug. 1, 2025.
“My theme for the past year, Cultivate the Future, is all about how the Council’s rich history and foundation positions it today to develop future export opportunities for U.S. producers,” said Verity Ulibarri, USGC chairwoman. “This meeting is where you can meet the people behind the mission and learn how we are working on your behalf each and every day.”
The Council’s summer meeting will highlight its work with key partners to build new demand for coarse grains, co-products and ethanol. Its seven Advisory Teams (A-teams) and five sectors will meet to discuss critical issues and provide guidance and priorities to the Council’s leadership. Its members will also approve the next fiscal year’s budget and elect new members to the USGC Board of Directors.
Additionally, delegates will vote to amend the organization’s name to the U.S. Grains and Bioproducts Council.
“This small but important name amendment will better encapsulate all of the commodities the Council represents and future use applications for those products,” Ulibarri said. “Additionally, it facilitates meetings and collaborations with peer organizations and governments in pursuit of enhanced ethanol adoption worldwide.”
