As of May 27, Will Margerum assumed the manager of communications position at the U.S. Grains Council (USGC), where he will be responsible for the Council’s weekly newsletter, maintaining its website and other internal and external outreach.
“Will served in USGC’s communications department for two years and in that time has become a valuable team player, not only overseeing outside writing to help spread the Council’s positive messages to a broader audience, but more recently assisting with additional stories for our Global Update newsletter. I’m confident he will be a natural in his new role,” said Bryan Jernigan, USGC director of communications. “He is and will continue to be a great asset to the Council’s communications efforts.”
Margerum joined the Council in February 2022 as the communications coordinator after previously spending time at various internships in Washington, D.C. and his native Pennsylvania. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in journalism and mass communication from George Washington University.
Please join the Council in congratulating Will on his promotion!
