Live the Mission

The U.S. Grains Council’s (USGC) mission is to develop markets, enable trade and improve lives. USGC staff in 11 offices around the world and in its Washington, D.C. headquarters – as well as Council members and state cooperators – were asked to speak about how that mission shows up in the work they do every day on behalf of U.S. agriculture. Review their responses by clicking on the videos below to better understand how those associated with the Council work to be the most relevant, passionate and trusted ambassadors for free and fair trade between U.S. agriculture and our customers around the world – the Faces of the Mission.

Having a clear direction helps an organization get things done thoroughly and expediently, and while trade and exports are a long game, the U.S. Grains Council’s mission couldn’t be clearer – to develop markets, enable trade and improve lives. These short, video interviews with Council staff are just a few examples of how we each Live the Mission for the U.S. Grains Council!

“Living the mission invokes a feeling of pride and responsibility in me. I am a representative for U.S. agriculture and I know that my members trust me and my colleagues to not only market their products, but to show up and generate trust and confidence in front of their most important customers.”

Heidi Bringenberg, U.S. Grains Council, Director in Mexico
