Last week, a team comprised of attendees from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Kenya was in Tunis attending a poultry and feed manufacturing short course at the U.S. Grains Council’s (USGC’s) feed center there. The program, which combined classroom seminars with hands-on training, was facilitated by staff from the Northern Crops Institute (NCI) and Iowa State University in partnership with the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia (INAT). The group also had the opportunity to visit poultry farms and feed mills around Tunis.
