Cierra Walker joined the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) and the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) on Jan. 18 as the receptionist/administrative assistant in the organizations’ co-located offices in Washington, D.C.
In addition to various administrative duties, Walker will represent the Council and NCGA by serving as the first point of contact for callers and visitors.
“Cierra’s positivity and patience will serve her and the Council well in her new role,” said Helen Elmore, USGC director of finance/administration. “She is ready, willing and able to learn more about our organizations and to adapt to our office environment.”
Prior to the Council, Walker worked as a receptionist at multiple retail vendors and, more recently, as a tutor for young children on the autism spectrum.
Walker earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Towson University.
Please join the Council and NCGA in welcoming Cierra!
