The Council’s Latin America office hosted a USGC partner webinar recently to discuss opportunities for U.S. corn integration alongside sugarcane-based ethanol production. Participants heard from industry leaders and staff on availability of complementary production and how leveraging U.S. products can aid in business growth. Fourteen¬¬-sugarcane-based ethanol producing companies participated in the webinar, with a total of 23 representatives from Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala and Peru.
