Register Today! Hotel Block For USGC Denver Meeting Closes July 2

Hotel block reservations will close on July 2 for the U.S. Grains Council’s (USGC’s) 58th Annual Board of Delegates upcoming meeting in Denver, Colorado.

The Council’s summer meeting, scheduled for July 30 to Aug. 1, 2018, will provide the Council’s members the opportunity to gather, learn about emerging trade issues and provide input into the Council’s programs and outreach on trade topics.

“The sun never sets on our efforts to develop critical markets, dismantle trade barriers and serve our customers overseas,” wrote Deb Keller, USGC chairman and farmer from Iowa, in a letter inviting members to the meeting, “and we rely on your engagement as we peruse the important trade policy and market development work happening around the world.”

Speakers will cover trade policy hotspots like China, Mexico and Brazil as well as provide updates on successful market development efforts related to ethanol and in the Middle East and Africa region. Speakers representing export market development organizations for meat, poultry and eggs will provide alternative perspectives on the exports of grains in all forms throughout the globe.

The Council’s Advisory Teams (A-Teams) will also meet to receive updates on specific commodities and markets and provide direction for USGC staff in the coming critical months. During a business meeting at the conference, USGC delegates will adopt next year’s budget and elect new officers and board members.
