Teacher, Farmer, Leader: USGC Recognizes Ed Breitmeyer For 10 Years of Service

Ed Breitmeyer taught school for 30 years before he switched to farming full time, but he never really left the classroom behind. Instead, he has used his educational expertise to bolster Michigan’s involvement in the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) over a decade as a USGC delegate for the Corn Marketing Program of Michigan.

USGC Welcomes New Member Conestoga Energy Partners, LLC

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) is pleased to welcome Conestoga Energy Partners, LLC, as a new member.

Established in 2006 and located in Liberal, Kansas, Conestoga Energy now operates three ethanol plants with a total production capacity of 205 million gallons as well as serving as a leading provider of distiller’s dried grain with solubles (DDGS).

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) is pleased to welcome Deerfield Ag Services, Inc. as a new member.

Deerfield Ag Services is a family-owned agriculture services business that has been in operation since 1959. Deerfield Ag Services currently operates five locations in northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania, providing agronomy products and services, grain origination and merchandising as well as grain handling and storage equipment. 

USGC Welcomes New Member Kansas Ethanol, LLC

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) is pleased to welcome Kansas Ethanol, LLC as a new member.

Founded in 2005, Kansas Ethanol, LLC is located in Lyons, Kansas.

The company produces fuel-grade ethanol utilizing corn and grain sorghum and offers wet and dry distiller’s grains with solubles (DDGS) tub and cube products as feed to livestock producers.

Agribusiness United Joins USGC As Newest Member

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) is pleased to welcome new member Agribusiness United North American Corporation.
