Full Slate Of Export Exchange 2024 Speakers Announced

The U.S. Grains Council (USGC) is excited to announce the final set of speakers for Export Exchange, held October 7-9 in Fort Worth, TX. Export Exchange is a biennial event hosted in partnership with Growth Energy and the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA).

Export Exchange speakers include Gary Morrison from Expana, who will provide an outlook on seafood protein demand with a focus on shrimp and salmon production. Alejandra Castillo and Tom Erickson from the North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA) will provide information on the new NAEGA Free-on-Board (FOB) contract.

Other Export Exchange presentations include “Sorghum, the Smart Choice,” presented by Norma Ritz Johnson from the United Sorghum Checkoff Program; “Value-Based Procurement of U.S. Co-products,” hosted by Guy Allen from the International Grains Program; “Co-Products in Petfood,” presented by Kent Cooper with Evolve Consulting Group; and “New Co-Products in the Market,” presented by Joe Ward from the Distillers Grains Technology Council (DGTC). USGC Director of Sustainability Carlos Suárez will also offer remarks about the latest developments on the Council’s  platform.

With nearly 500 attendees, Export Exchange focuses on bringing together international buyers and end-users of coarse grains and co-products, including distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS), with U.S. suppliers and agribusiness representatives. International attendees participate in pre- or post- conference tours of the U.S. agriculture value chain to see examples of what they learned at Export Exchange while also developing deeper relationships with industry professionals that make the value chain possible.

The conference generates sales on a global scale, and relationships built at this conference help grow future demand in overseas markets.

There’s still time to register for Export Exchange 2024! Members of the Council, Growth Energy or RFA are eligible for discounted registration and should identify themselves as such during registration. Regular registration pricing ends on Monday, Sept. 23.
