The U.S. Grains Council has lined up a number experts who will share their knowledge and understanding of global trade at its 51st Annual Board of Delegates Meeting July 25-27 in San Francisco, Calif.
Among these individuals is Christine Vick, who provides consulting services for multinational corporations from a variety of industries, including agriculture, biotechnology, energy and financial services.
Vick will share her perspective on global trade trends and the forces shaping economic dynamics. As a long-time specialist in geo-politics, Vick has an extensive background in building strategic relationships with both government and corporate entities around the world, helping position several multinational corporations to navigate the often complex and complicated global business environment.
Vick worked side by side with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger during the formative years of the U.S./China relationship and has continued cultivating her unique perspective on the China trade and business environment.
She closely follows trends in Congress and in U.S. foreign policy, along with evolving political and economic undercurrents in foreign countries, to determine their impact on commercial activities in key global markets.
