U.S. Grains Council Hosts 50th Annual Meeting July 18-21

The U.S. Grains Council will celebrate 50 years of developing export markets for U.S. corn, barley, sorghum and their co-products at the 50th Annual Board of Delegates Meeting in Boston, Mass., July 18-21, 2010.

“The Council has served as a catalyst for growth in agricultural trade by opening markets, reducing tariff barriers, building demand and spotlighting the benefits of U.S. grains,� said Rick Fruth, USGC chairman and Ohio corn farmer. “This year’s meeting promises to be very special with an impressive line-up of speakers.�

Featured speakers include:
– Ambassador Islam A. Siddiqui, Chief Agricultural Negotiator, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative
– Ambassador Carolina Barco, Colombian Ambassador to the United States (invited)
