USGC Exhibiting at NAFB’s 2016 Washington Watch

Leaders from the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) will meet with farm broadcasters in Washington, D.C., next Monday for the National Association of Farm Broadcasting’s (NAFB’s) annual Washington Watch interview fair.

USGC President and CEO Tom Sleight and USGC Chief Economist Mike Dwyer are scheduled to be at the event to discuss hot topics with reporters, including:

  • developing and nurturing markets for ethanol exports.
  • today’s global grain market and finding pockets of demand.
  • making the case for trade policy priorities like TPP and T-TIP.

Other hot topics will include the Council’s recent work in the Cuban, Colombian and Peruvian markets; the release of the Council’s corn and sorghum quality reports; and the organization’s ongoing program in Tanzania to develop the poultry industry there.
