Reynolds Slated for USGC Ottawa Speaker Lineup

The U.S. Grains Council’s 53rd Annual Board of Delegates Meeting will kick off with welcome remarks by Scott Reynolds, USDA’s Minister-Counselor for Agricultural Affairs in Canada. Attendees will receive an in-depth look into Canada’s agriculture policy, bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, border issues and more. Because of the close, intricate working relationship between the United States and Canada, this is a presentation you won’t want to miss

Starting his Ottawa assignment in August 2012, this central Pennsylvania native began working for USDA in 1984, and has served as Minister-Counselor at the U.S. Embassy Moscow and in Pretoria, South Africa. In the 1990’s, he worked in China and Hong Kong, and opened the Foreign Agricultural Service’s Agricultural Trade Office in Shanghai in 1995.

Reynolds hold a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University and a masters in agricultural economics from the University of California, Davis.
