Drought Doesn’t Impact US Grain Supply Reliability, Quality

The U.S. currently is experiencing the worst drought since 1988 and many people believe it is the worst in a generation. Even with crop conditions declining in the extreme hot, dry weather – the U.S. is projected to produce one of the top six record harvests this year. The current corn yield projection by USDA is 146-bushels per acre. That would be the third-largest crop on record.
