Congratulations to Chris Corry on His 25-Year Employment with the Council

June 1, 2012, marked the 25th employment anniversary for U.S. Grains Council Senior Director of International Operations Chris Corry.

Corry has held various positions within the Council since joining in 1987. From 1987-1990, Corry was the technical coordinator at the Council’s Washington, D.C., office, with responsibilities ranging from determining Council needs and hiring consultants for its international marketing programs to developing and organizing U.S. programs for visiting foreign trade delegations. In 1990, Corry became the project manager for the Council’s Algerian model farm project. Shortly thereafter, he relocated to Algiers, Algeria, and spearheaded the Council’s market promotion efforts in North Africa. In 1991 Corry relocated to Vienna, Austria, where he held the position of regional director for the Council’s Eastern European operations. In 1997 Corry moved to Tunis, Tunisia, to assume responsibilities for the Council’s market development efforts in North and Sub-Saharan Africa, Israel, Cyprus, Malta and South Eastern Europe. Since then, Corry moved back to the Council’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., to assume his current responsibilities.
