On June 9, the U.S. Grains Council, in cooperation Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, will host a one-day seminar in
Lethbridge, Alberta, promoting U.S. DDGS utilization in western Canadian feedlots. The day will include an intensive DDGS technical session, an industry meeting followed by a networking reception.

This conference provides a prime venue for U.S. DDGS producers and suppliers to meet some of the top Canadian importers and largest end-users of U.S. DDGS.

The Council has been actively promoting DDGS in Canada over the past six years. Since 2006, The United States experienced an eight-fold increase of DDGS exports to Canada, which imported more than 1 million metric tons in 2010. While significant growth has already taken place, all indications point toward continued growth in the Canadian market.
