The U.S. Grains Council recently-concluded its 16th Annual China Corn Harvest Tour. China is the second largest corn producer in the world – and the country has recently emerged as a corn importer – a fact which the Council says emphasizes China’s role as a key factor in corn pricing, supply and demand across the world.

USGC President and CEO Tom Sleight says this year’s tour consisted of two surveys in the North China Plains and Northeast China.
