Taiwanese Trade Team Gearing up for Export Exchange

The U.S. Grains Council has implemented programs in Taiwan promoting DDGS since 2002. The Council continually works to educate Taiwanese DDGS users, millers and traders on the nutritional values, high quality, and reliable supply of DDGS from the United States for use in the country’s growing pork, chicken, and egg production sectors.

Due to the ongoing success of Council programs, Taiwan expects that an additional ten feed mills and farms will begin making commercial DDGS purchases in 2012. Key representatives from existing Taiwanese traders and end-users, such as Charoen Pokphand Enterprises, Fwu Sow Industry Co. Ltd, and more, are traveling to Minneapolis next month to attend Export Exchange 2012. They are eager to build business contacts with reliable U.S. DDGS traders and suppliers.

With the potential market for DDGS in Taiwan standing at about 700,000 metric tons annually, you don’t miss out on this one of a kind opportunity to interact with buyers from Taiwan. The Taiwanese team will join the nearly 200 international buyers of coarse grains and co-products and hundreds of domestic agribusiness representatives and industry experts attending Export Exchange 2012. Don’t delay—reduced hotel and registration rates expire this week!
