USGC’s Western Hemisphere Office Undergoes Staff Transitions

Please join the U.S. Grains Council (USGC) in congratulating Egna Rodriguez as she is promoted to regional programs manager in its Panama office.

In this capacity, Rodriguez will concentrate on coordinating and carrying out activities related to the Council’s Unified Export Strategy (UES). She will manage USGC program agendas and budgets, as well as maintain information flow between buyers and sellers, including market intelligence, upcoming programs and USGC communications efforts.

“Egna joined the Council in 2010 and since has become a valuable member of the Council’s Western Hemisphere team,â€ said USGC Regional Director for the Western Hemisphere Marri Carrow. “In the short time I’ve been working in the Panama office, she has demonstrated her job knowledge and skills that serve the Council and its members well. Congratulations, Egna!â€

The Council also bids farewell to Kenia Vasquez.

Vasquez served as the Western Hemisphere accountant. She joined the Council in 2010 and helped keep the Council’s regional operations running smoothly and the organization in compliance. Her last day was April 15.
