USGC Welcomes Ashley Kongs Back to Staff

The U.S. Grains Council is pleased to announce that Ashley Kongs is returning to the Council as manager of ethanol export programs.

Kongs will be responsible for the development and implementation of ethanol export strategies and programs. In this capacity she will work closely with the Council’s ethanol members, the Renewable Fuels Association and Growth Energy.

Kongs returns to the Council from Congressional Quarterly/Roll Call Group, where she served most recently as deputy editor of Bill Track. Prior to Roll Call, she worked for the Council as international operations coordinator, organizing programs in Latin America, Middle East and North Africa. She facilitated strategic analysis, program planning and development, implementation and evaluation, and recruitment of program consultants.

Born and raised in Washington, Kan., Kongs is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C., and holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies with a focus on international politics and Europe.

Her first day back at the Council will be March 31. Welcome back, Ashley!
