Please join the U.S. Grains Council in welcoming its newest employee, Cole Bishop.

Bishop joins the Council as the new global strategies coordinator. In this capacity, he will assist the global strategies and trade policy/biotechnology departments, organize staff and member travel, prepare arrangements for visiting teams, and facilitate program planning, correspondence, reports, information management and contracting.

Bishop previously worked for the Maryland Agriculture Education Foundation as the executive director of the Maryland FFA Association. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Florida in agricultural education and communications. He earned a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University in agricultural and extension education.

His first day was October 28. Welcome aboard, Cole!
