Upon completion of the U.S. Grains Council’s 16th Annual China Corn Harvest Tour, participants share insights from China’s major corn growing regions. Although China is the world’s second leading corn producer, its recent emergence as a corn importer has emphasized its role as a key factor in global corn pricing, supply and demand. USGC advisory team member Ed Breitmeyer will share observations from his participation in the tour. Bryan Lohmar, USGC director in China, will also discuss the Council’s ongoing strategic dialogue with China and the impact this has for the United States.
