Please join the U.S. Grains Council in welcoming its newest hire Katelyn Parsons.

Parsons joins the U.S. Grains Council as the new membership and communications coordinator. In this capacity, she will assist with the overall communications efforts, including updating and maintaining the USGC website, the development and distribution of Council news and publications and membership outreach and administration.

Persons is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, holding bachelor degrees in both agricultural communications and animal science and a minor in agriculture economics. She has held several internships, including with the American Royal, Adfarm and Farm Credit. Parsons is from a sheep and sow operation in Hadley, Mass., where her family still farms.

Her first day with the Council will be June 17. Welcome aboard Katelyn!
