Please join the U.S. Grains Council in welcoming its newest member Cardinal Ethanol, LLC.
Cardinal Ethanol began production at its ethanol plant near Union City, Ind., on Nov. 1, 2008. The plant uses more than 36 million bushels of corn. It is natural gas fired and designed to produce approximately 100 million gallons of ethanol each year. The ethanol is marketed across the United States as a clean-burning, high-octane transportation fuel additive. In addition to corn and ethanol, Cardinal Ethanol also produces approximately 340,000 tons of distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) per year.
