2024 Annual Report
U.S. Grains Council staff around the world worked hard in 2024 to Cultivate the Future of American agriculture by developing markets for U.S. corn, sorghum, barley, distiller’s dried grains with solubles (DDGS) and ethanol. We’re delighted to share some of the high points of the year and the status of the Council’s financials in this report.
The Council’s Export Exchange conference resulted in $242 million worth of sales of U.S. agricultural products and we’re in the middle of valuable research to prove the superior quality of U.S. corn in wet milling compared to other origins. Mexico also broke its own record as U.S. corn’s largest market and U.S. ethanol exports reached more than 1.7 billion gallons, a new high.
Additionally, you can dive deeper into commodity-specific developments like aquaculture training programs in Turkey; ethanol policy developments in Japan and the Philippines; barley and sorghum promotion efforts in China; and much more.
The Council continues to grow and adapt thanks to additional funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Regional Agricultural Promotion Program (USDA’s RAPP), so the future has never been brighter for the organization and we have exciting plans to leverage that opportunity into clear results for U.S. producers.
Thank you to the Council’s members and staff who make our work possible, and here’s to even greater successes in 2025!
